We spent two weeks here in summer, just the four of us, two adults and two kids. The house worked really well for our holiday, and we’d recommend it. The location is a real highlight. From the house and pool you can look out over the sea and watch boats go by. It’s about 700 metres from the sea, so binoculars are handy if you want a closer look at the super yachts. For the beach, an access card lets you park for free at Club Baggia, or you can pay 5 euros a day near Linda Beach. It’s also easy to get to Porto Vecchio, Bonifacio, and the other beaches. The pool is shared by the three houses, so there could be up to eight people using it. It’s roughly 12 by 5 metres, with an organic shape and an infinity edge on one side. It’s heated, deep enough for diving at the far end, and well maintained every day. There are no set rules about when to swim, so evening and night swims are fine. Our kids loved it, and we often had it to ourselves. The four-person house has two bedrooms, both with air conditioning. It’s a small duplex, with one bedroom downstairs, but the space is laid out cleverly and feels roomy enough. Two other houses on the property sleep two people each, but they’re out of sight, and no one overlooks this house, so it feels private. Conrad was friendly and quick to help with questions or anything that came up in the house. He looks after the grounds every day without intruding on your privacy. For the price, it felt like having a private villa with a pool, even though the pool is shared. The views are stunning, and we didn’t need the 200-square-metre interiors offered by bigger, much more expensive places. Very good value.
