Hôtel Costa Salina

We needed a last-minute place to stay, and this hotel really came through. It was beautiful, spotless, and had lovely breakfasts. The staff were delightful, incredibly friendly, and helpful. Many of the receptionists speak English, so I really recommend it to English visitors. I already miss the hotel and staff!

The hotel was spotless, the location perfect, and the staff friendly and helpful, especially the person we think was the manager, though we didn't get her name. Everything was perfect except the bar. It's outside by the pool, and before ordering we asked the bartender if we could take our drinks over to the pool. She said yes, then came back five minutes later to say we couldn't. It was annoying, though perhaps a language barrier was involved. Then it took her nearly 20 minutes to make two drinks, even though my husband and I were the only ones there.

I had a really lovely stay and would happily return. The staff were so warm and helpful. One small suggestion: it would be great to have a cold water tap or fountain in the restaurant area, so guests could refill bottles. That seems much better for the environment than relying on plastic bottles.

We picked this place for the Bastille Day fireworks, and being just 30 metres from the water gave us a fantastic view. The pool was nice, the rooms were clean, and breakfast was perfect. We stayed three nights, found it good value, and the staff were great.
