Hotel Moderne

The rooftop view is stunning, and we had breakfast up there. Even in December, sitting in the sun was lovely. The rooms are new, modern and stylish, and the location makes it easy to walk to shops, cafes and restaurants. The staff were friendly and attentive. It really lives up to its name!

The rooms were super clean and had all the amenities, and the staff were really friendly. The hotel is right downtown, with restaurants and cafes just a few steps away, so there’s little need for a car unless you’re heading out of town. Parking is available, though it’s a little far away, 400 meters. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in.

The rooftop is a lovely perk, you can head up for a coffee or cocktail whenever you like and take in the view. The staff were attentive and very helpful. The hotel is comfortable, thoughtfully decorated, and right in the heart of Porto-Vecchio.

We booked a standard room downstairs and were upgraded to one on a higher floor. The bed was huge and really comfortable, and the bathroom had all the toiletries we needed. There was a free coffee and tea machine, plus a minibar that cost extra. The only drawback was evening noise outside with the windows open, if you prefer not to use air conditioning. Shut the windows and it becomes wonderfully quiet :)
