Residence a Rundinella

We were lucky to visit at the end of September, and it was a dream: calm, lovely weather and a kind owner. The house was very clean and had every comfort, with a beach nearby and Porto Vecchio not far away. We’ll definitely come back, and it’ll be in September again! Thank you, Mrs. Poli.

The evening views of the moon rising over the sea were incredible, and we loved the outdoor shower. Wild boars wandered below the low wall, and the most beautiful beach in the area was just a few steps away through the maquis. The little house had everything we needed for a perfect holiday, and it felt like a slice of paradise. Mrs. Poli and her team were absolutely lovely too. I’m almost hesitant to review it after such a dream week, in case I can’t find this place again.

The surroundings are lovely, but the houses are close together and there isn't much privacy. German children from the neighborhood followed us around every day, which bothered us. Our rental was spacious, with five beds across 50 square meters, but it only had two electric hotplates. We normally find at least three in places like this. When we raised it with the owner, she told us to eat salads. We were shocked by that response. Sadly, good manners seem rare.

The beach is an easy walk away, and in the off-season it isn't crowded. There are sea plants and stones in the water, though, with plenty of nice places to swim. The accommodation made a very good impression: bedrooms have air conditioning and window screens, and there's cooking and laundry equipment, a barbecue, dishwasher, and microwave. Water pressure upstairs can be weak depending on the unit, but it's generally just sufficient. Privacy also depends on which house or patio you get. Mosquitoes and wasps can be a real nuisance in some seasons or weather, especially at night. I'd recommend it.
