The one real advantage is being near the beach, though the beach right there isn’t the nicest. There are cleaner, prettier, less crowded beaches about 15 minutes away. The hotel itself is terribly run down and overpriced, with ants, bugs, spiders, and cockroaches in the rooms. I’d never come back. The owners don’t look after the property, and the staff at Cala Sultana and Castelle Verde were rude and incompetent. The managers were no help and treated customers disrespectfully. Staff partied in the free lodging they’re given, which is the same lodging guests pay over €300 a night for, playing loud music until 3 a.m. and getting drunk. Then they’d turn up hungover at reception with no idea what they were doing. The hotels are falling apart and badly outdated. I stayed in better places as a kid. As an adult, I don’t want to spend this kind of money on filthy, bug-infested accommodation. Worst experience ever. I’d recommend U Capu Biancu Or Belvedere Hotel instead for the beautiful views, good restaurants, and helpful, caring staff. Don’t waste your vacation here. Avoid it.
