After a long day cycling, this room was just what I needed. It’s spacious, clean, airy, and comfortable, and the bathroom is roomy and clean too. A bit dated, sure, but the water’s hot. The price is more than fair. I’m not sure why the hotel gets complaints and an average of 3.8 stars. Maybe those reviews include the restaurant, which I haven’t tried. It’s not a five-star place, but a solid four-plus in my book, and Google’s rating scale is too coarse. Now I’m heading down to the sunny afternoon terrace for a beer!

The meal was delicious, and our tour group was looked after really well when we had lunch here last month. I also bought a reasonably priced drink at the bar. Great food and service, highly recommended.

The meal took ages, and the food was both poor and overpriced. My pizza was awful, with raw dough, a watery sauce, and far too much tarragon. The coffee was undrinkable. We sent back full plates, but the waitress never asked what was wrong. They didn’t seem to care.

The decor was lovely, and we were happy with the hospitality at this well-kept hotel-restaurant in the little township. Our tour bus had booked lunch and the menu was already set. My partner and I both chose the Poulet Gaston Gerard-Chicken, White wine, Cre’me Fraiche, as did our two friends at the table. We enjoyed the meal and apple pie dessert, all served with so much love. Merci 🥰🥰 Highly recommended.

We only came for lunch, not a hotel stay. The chicken was lovely, and the apple torte for dessert was outstanding.
