Gîte des 2 Pat'

We only had a short stay, so there was plenty of the area we didn't get to explore. If we come back, La Goupiliere will be our choice again. It's a quiet spot where you can unwind and take in the natural surroundings. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed, and our four-legged companions were welcomed too. The two Pats were discreet but ready to help whenever we asked. Patricia also shared useful local information and pointed us to a restaurant in Pouzauges that was well worth the detour. Puy du Fou is about twenty minutes away, making this a great base.

Even in the heatwave, the cottage stayed at a comfortable temperature, and it’s so close to Puy du Fou. We found it both pleasant and practical. Our hosts were welcoming while still giving us space, which we appreciated. I’d happily recommend it.

The owners were friendly and knew a lot about the region’s history, so I’d gladly return. The cottage itself is lovely inside and very well equipped, with all the comforts we needed. Outside is pleasant too, with a gas griddle and pétanque court if you want to eat outdoors.

After a day at Puy du Faou, coming back to a quiet place in the countryside was a treat. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Thanks to Patricia and Patrice for being such welcoming hosts.
