Villa du Parc is spotless and comfortable, with kind, welcoming and helpful hosts. It’s close to Perpignan and the Pyrenees. Breakfast was delicious, with most of the food homemade or locally sourced, and we loved the different jams. There’s lots to do nearby and the scenery is beautiful. Our hosts suggested excellent restaurants and day trips, and we’d recommend Villa du Parc. We’re keen to visit again.

The pool deserves a mention too! We had perfect breakfasts, free parking, lovely service and such kind staff, all in an idyllic setting surrounded by what felt like a private park. The hosts speak English and have family in the region, so they’re happy to point you toward good places to visit. It’s in Prades, in southern France, near Perpignan. We enjoyed the market day today; if you’re in town on a Tuesday, check it out. Beautiful location, and a lovely place to enjoy the sunshine and the region’s delicious food. Profitez-en bien!

A super weekend. The hosts made us feel very welcome, and our room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade treats, and both the house and garden were beautiful.

We planned to spend one night at Villa du Parc while heading from Perpignan to Andorra in April 2012. Three nights later, we were still there. The spot made a great base for day trips, with plenty of history around Padres, and we had a thoroughly enjoyable visit. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished, set across several chalets. The German couple who own and run it clearly know what they’re doing, with the kind of punctual, orderly approach you’d expect. At the time, a Belgian chef was making a lovely three-course dinner for E21 per person, and there was a good selection of local wines at reasonable prices. I’ve stayed at plenty of B&Bs around the world, and this was one of the best. You can enjoy breakfast or dinner without having to socialize with other guests. We warmly recommend Villa du Parc and hope to return.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming, and breakfast was fresh, delicious, and excellent. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet, with a view of the Pyrenees. The garden and pool were fantastic, too.
