The location is good, the rooms are clean, and breakfast is hearty. But the signs and rules everywhere made the stay feel restrictive. Eating in the dining room costs 5 euros, cash only, and there's a curfew at 7/7:30 pm. Turning up the heating costs another 5 euros, and there was an unfriendly reminder when I tried to stay in the dining room after 9 pm. I can imagine how difficult that would be in winter for skiers, who'd have to stay cooped up in their rooms after dark or go out for dinner every night.
