The accommodation itself was a letdown for the price: shoddy work, wobbly baseboards, a poorly maintained spa with rusty jets, and a worn-out sofa. The standard didn't match the advertised rate. Our stay cost over €9,000 per week, but the agency and owner offered no goodwill gesture or partial compensation after giving us incorrect parking information. At arrival, in front of several people, we were clearly told that two vehicles could use the garages rented with the chalet and a third could park in front if we put a note on the windshield. We did that and got a €135 per day ticket for obstructing traffic. Our appeals were refused. They verbally acknowledged the information was wrong, but neither the agency nor owner took responsibility. The owner's cynical comment that "it could have been worse" made us feel even more disregarded. The stay could have been pleasant, but the unreliable advice and complete lack of consideration left a very bitter taste. Very disappointing.

We came back from our holiday to parking tickets, which was a shameful way for it to end. There were 11 of us, and when we arrived in Praz-sur-Arly, the person handing over the keys said two cars could go in the garage and the third could park in front. She said it wouldn't be a problem, just inconvenient when we needed to get the cars out. You can judge for yourselves how reliable the people giving you the keys are.

The chalet's finishes were poor for the price, with wobbly baseboards, a large hot tub in bad shape with rusty jets, and a very worn sofa. The stay began well and ended badly, with the owner showing contempt for her guests. The bigger issue was the parking advice. We came as a family on holiday with three vehicles and had rented the garages ourselves. Two cars were already parked inside. The agency told us to put a note on the windshield and park the third in front of the garages. We did, but received one ticket per day, and our appeals were rejected. At more than €9,000 per week, neither the agency nor the owner offered any compensation or partial refund for their failure to advise us properly. We spoke directly with both and they verbally acknowledged the issue, but took no responsibility. The owner, Isabelle, even said, "And you could have been fined twice a day!" Deplorable and cynical. Ms. Di Liegro, if you delegate the logistics to an agency because you don't want to handle them yourself, you should make sure its instructions are consistent with yours. Dear Madam, following up on your response: these are facts, not false comments, and the comments on your account show I'm not alone in these views. I'm not questioning your internal rules. I'm questioning what the agency communicated and your failure to brief them properly. This isn't blackmail, just a description of what we experienced and what was said in our discussions.

We were ten family members staying in January, and the village location was ideal, with shops just a minute away on foot. The bar opposite didn't bother us with noise. We actually enjoyed going there. The chalet was beautiful, with lovely materials and a cosy feel. We especially loved the outdoor jacuzzi and its magnificent mountain view, and the sauna window had a lovely view too. The owners were kind and very accommodating. A superb holiday. Best wishes, The Bretons

The owners were incredibly friendly, and the apartment was superb, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. The bedding was perfect and very comfortable. After sports, we could relax in the fantastic sauna with its mountain view. Everything was within easy reach, just across the road. We'll definitely be back.
