The place is practical and has what you need for a big gathering or party, and the owners were accommodating and easy to reach. The photos are accurate, though. It needs major renovation, and plenty has been patched up in the meantime. Don't expect it to be spotless.

That big fireplace made our November weekend, while the pool was open in summer when we were there for my wedding. We came back three years later for my birthday, so we got to enjoy the place on two different occasions. The reception room and its large medieval table are great for dancing and celebrating. Really lovely times and memories I won't forget.

We are still waiting for our deposit back, more than a year after the cancellation we agreed to because of the health crisis. There was a cancellation agreement, and we have proof. I feel this person is using the crisis to keep people's money. It's shameful and dishonest, and I strongly advise against staying here. Based on reviews already posted, the gîte is unsanitary. The person comes across as vile, dishonest, and lacking any ethics or morals, and should be punished.

We were a group of 25, and the bedrooms worked well, with six bathrooms. The indoor pool was beautiful and accessible around the clock, and there were flowers and all kinds of plants around the country setting, away from the village. For food, the stainless steel kitchen was well equipped, plus the covered terrace had a griddle, barbecue, and wood-fired pizza oven. The reception room, dance floor, big screen, and large open fireplace made it easy to celebrate my birthday. Everything felt functional and well maintained, including the historic buildings, despite the house being very old and half-timbered. We forgot everything for two days. An unforgettable weekend.
