We loved our stay and plan to come back. The campsite bread was especially good, and the onsite restaurant served tasty, well-prepared food at fair prices. There are lovely coastal walking paths in both directions, and the sanitaires are great. The site slopes gently above the sea. Most pitches are spacious and flat, except the ones nearest the water. We arrived shortly before noon, which caused some confusion even in low season, but were eventually allowed to check in early for €5.

What a beautiful part of the world. We had a lovely first holiday at this campsite, with friendly staff, great weather and an amazing location. We enjoyed the rock pools, and found small fish, crabs and prawns. Bring a bucket, net and beach shoes if you want to explore them. We bought beach shoes and used Bolt to order taxis. Beaches are about a 15-minute walk along the road. We had a child on a micro-scooter, which was easier on the roads. We enjoyed having breakfast outside at our caravan, and the bakery ordering service was handy for baguettes, croissants and pain au chocolat. The heated indoor pool was nice, too. Dinner options included mussels and chips night, pizza night and paella night, a welcome break from cooking. The food was top-notch, and the crepe with ice cream makes a delicious dessert. The food markets in Prefailles are on Wednesdays and Saturdays. There was so much I wanted to eat, from fresh seafood, bread and pastries to spring rolls, long tomatoes, mirabelles and dried fruit. It isn't cheap, but what a treat. Préfailles beach has a Coccimarket not too far away, and LE GRAND BAZAR has great souvenirs and really tasty pick and mix for kids. I would have bought something from Les Malles du Matelot if I'd had more money. At Plage de l'Anse du Sud, the family beach, there's a box of leftover beach toys to share. One warning, the lock on the public toilet door was hard to open, and I was stuck inside for a while.

The staff were really friendly, and there's a nice bar and restaurant onsite. You can get to the sea, and the campsite also has a nice pool and a "Zen" area. Facilities are good and clean.

We hope to stay again next year. The English-speaking staff gave excellent service, and the premium for a sea-facing pitch was well worth it. The location above the cliffs is fantastic, with lovely sea views.

The coastline is rugged and the beaches aren't really sandy, but otherwise this is a lovely site and well worth visiting. Staff are friendly, with good service, and the facilities are first class. The pitches are a little too close together, though it was still pretty quiet, and the site has nice shade.
