The house had what we needed, with a well-equipped kitchen and games in the lounge. We spent two weeks there with our dog, who loved the big garden and walks through the surrounding vineyards. The rustic place is set in peaceful countryside, and the pool was brilliant, with plenty of loungers and a table for enjoying the sun. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, answered our questions and sorted things out quickly. A lovely spot for a quiet, relaxed getaway.
Alice was a perfect host, and we can’t thank her enough. It was our first break away with just the two of us in 30 years, now that we’re empty nesters. We had the wonderful pool all to ourselves and felt a little guilty at first, but got over it quickly. If peace and quiet are what you want, this is the place. Best holiday ever.
