There was nobody working at the location, and reaching someone to check in was a nightmare. No one answered calls, emails bounced back, and I nearly thought the place was fake. This isn't a hotel or an Airbnb. They ask you to clean up, take out the trash, and leave the place as you found it. It's far from downtown with nothing nearby. We requested separate beds, but they weren't set up that way. They say to call an hour before arrival, but that system doesn't work. You also have to contact them an hour ahead to say when you're coming, and that didn't work either. The pull out couch bed shouldn't even be offered as an option.

When we arrived at 11:30 PM, as agreed, we found there was no air conditioning, even though the Expedia listing for our Annecy hotel room clearly said there was. We had booked through Expedia, and later its support confirmed the room was meant to have A/C. The receptionist admitted in writing that our room lacked it and said we'd booked improperly, despite our screenshot showing air conditioning. The hotel still refused both a refund and another solution. The check-in arrangements were just as frustrating. We told the hotel earlier that day we'd arrive around 10:30 PM. The receptionist asked us to message 30 minutes before, which we did, then complained when we got there late. I'd never had this kind of problem at any hotel or AirBnB I'd stayed in. We found the experience deeply disappointing, with misleading advertising, an unprofessional attitude, and no customer care. We don't recommend it to anyone expecting transparency, reliability, or basic respect as a guest. We'll keep pursuing a refund through the best Consumer Rights channels available.

Our reservation was cancelled with no explanation. I guess they don't really need guests. 🙄 Miserable…

The beds and shower were good. The apartments were clean and tidy too.
