Jérôme looked after us from the moment we arrived until we left, and although we never got to meet Boris, we had a lovely night at Au Gre du Sud. The room was comfortable and had tea and coffee facilities, which you can’t always count on in France. In the morning, we enjoyed a light French breakfast with bread, homemade jams and pastries. We also opted for dinner, and it was first class: fresh salad, delicious fish, then a choice of cheese or fruit. There was a great selection of wine too, including a very good local red. Booking and pre-arrival communication were smooth, with clear directions to find the place. It’s tucked away in the countryside but still on the edge of the village. There’s a large swimming pool and a spa pool, though we didn’t have time to use either.

The food was a real highlight: both breakfast and dinner were generous and delicious. Boris and Jérôme were so welcoming, and our stay in Puechabon was a pleasure. The studio was lovely, thoughtfully laid out and spotless, with everything we needed. We had a great time and will definitely come back. It’s a place worth remembering.

We’ll definitely return. The owners were so kind, and breakfast was excellent. There’s plenty of greenery around the property, along with two pools, a regular one and a whirlpool, both great for cooling off. Our room was spacious, tastefully decorated and clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable.
