Camping Lou Gourdan

The spacious pitches have fences between them, so there’s a bit of privacy, and each one has its own electricity and water. We paid 22€, and in this area it’s hard to imagine getting a better deal. The setting by the Var is tucked away, with mountains and trees around us and the river to hear, so it still felt close to nature. Our host was very nice and helpful. Bathrooms and showers were nearly new and always clean, which is unusual at this price. There’s a washing machine for 4€, and you can do your dishes at the outdoor sinks. We felt comfortable here and would recommend the campsite.

The owners even found pliers to help us with a flat tyre and opened the restaurant late after we’d spent a long day driving. They also lent us an electric camping adaptor. We stayed three nights in July and had a great time, with lovely scenery around the site. The toilets and showers were roomy and kept clean. We’d definitely come back, 10/10.

There’s a lovely medieval town nearby, with old streets that are great to walk around, and I’d certainly stay here again next time I’m in the area. The pitches are large, each with electricity and water. The washing machine is great and holds a lot, it’s professional quality. The owners are friendly, and the sanitaires are smart and clean. Showers are spacious with plenty of hot water, and the site has everything you need.

A great spot for cyclists, with the campsite right by town, about 300m away. The pitches are roomy and have electricity and water. The sanitary block was spotless. Highly recommend!
