Dinner is available if you want it, along with good wine, beyond the usual B&B setup. Breakfast was served in a lovely courtyard. The place is a beautifully kept B&B in a typical French village, tastefully refurbished in a classic style, and the couple gave us a wonderful reception.
I've stayed here several times when arranging a place for family members. La Maison Rose is a charming guesthouse with lovely decor, and Véronique Fournier is such a delightful hostess. Definitely an address I'll remember.
We stayed in the red room, which had a separate area for the children. The setting south of Paris is beautiful, making it a perfect stopover. The hosts were very friendly and did everything they could to make us feel comfortable.
The only little drawback was how much the floorboards creaked. Otherwise, it was peaceful and quiet, with charming period guest rooms, lovely linens, and a generous breakfast. We got a warm welcome too. Highly recommended!
Breakfast in the garden came with homemade jams. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the rooms were clean and tastefully decorated.
