The decor was lovely, and the hotel was great. There’s a bar and restaurant, and the food was lovely. Breakfast, with eggs and fruit, was really nice. The staff were friendly, and English was spoken.

We especially enjoyed the chateau and grounds tour, which finished with a wine tasting. Julie, our pleasant guide, knew her stuff and took time to answer all our questions. The chateau hotel is beautiful, just 10 minutes from Saint Emilion, with large, comfortable rooms and a wonderful breakfast. We hope to stay again.

Julie's vineyard tour and tasting were a real highlight. Her knowledge was exceptional. We also had a delicious meal in the restaurant, with the Chateau’s wine. Chateau Fleur de Roques was perfect for our one night in the area.
