Aparthotel Adagio La Défense Esplanade

The staff were helpful and kind, including when the baby crib we'd requested wasn't ready at arrival. They later brought the crib and the baby high chair we asked for. The hotel's location is very handy, close to the metro, within walking distance of the RER, and near a shopping centre. Restaurants just outside in the commercial centre made it easy to get a quick weekday meal without going out in the cold. Construction around the area made getting to the entrance a bit awkward. Inside, the hotel was average: there was no vacuum for guests to use, no daily housekeeping, and paint was peeling from parts of the walls. The stay was acceptable mainly because of the location and responsive staff, but the room upkeep and services need work.

The staff were pleasant and helpful, and being close to the Metro was convenient. We didn't try breakfast because it was ridiculously expensive. The kitchen was fully equipped apart from a toaster, though reception sells them. We'd booked a Superior large 1-bedroom apartment but were put in an unrenovated one. It was dirty, and the sofa bed was so bent that it couldn't be slept on. They couldn't move us the first night, but did for the rest of our stay. The renovated apartment was just okay.

Breakfast really suited me, and the apartments were clean, airy, and spacious, with everything we needed. The staff were always smiling, friendly, and helpful, especially the woman at the restaurant. I highly recommend this hotel. Faultless!

Getting a taxi was the worst part. Cars can't access the hotel, so calling an Uber to pick you up is impossible. The hotel is close to the metro, and the staff were friendly and helpful. But our shower didn't work at all, so we had to use the hand shower. We were three people and only got two towels, and the safe was blocked until they fixed it the following day. That's not what I'd expect from a hotel with several stars.
