(English Tourist) The staff were helpful, friendly and spoke good English. We found the hotel good value, in a lovely medieval town and a great spot for exploring. If you need a budget-friendly base or somewhere to stay briefly in the area, it’s a great option.

We arrived late in Puy-l’Eveque and found that three other restaurants listed as open on Google weren’t. Then we came across this place and had a great meal, five courses for €24. The service was great too. Thoroughly recommended.

At lunchtime we had a well-prepared menu du jour at a reasonable price. It’s a traditional bar and restaurant, and the service was quick.

The owners were very kind, and the setting was beautiful. The accommodation was simple but comfortable.

They stop serving food at 1 p.m. on Sundays. The staff were out front smoking. Very busy !!!
