Au Cheval Noir

Cindy gave us such a warm welcome, and the owners were really friendly and helpful too. The farmhouse rooms were clean and comfortable, with a shared kitchen and dining room. We could use the kitchen and fridge, which was handy for a couple of cold beers. It feels homely, the kind of place where you wouldn't leave dirty towels on the floor. A great stop before catching the ferry.

We stopped here again on our way home, before the morning ferry to Dover, after spending a night here before heading south. It's a lovely old farmhouse, with clean, very nice bedrooms, and the host made us feel welcome. There's a lovely breakfast spread, and they showed us a fridge where we could keep food for the next day's journey. The location is great, not far from Dunkurque. We'll keep it in mind for future trips through France.

Surrounded by trees and roses, it's a beautiful, typical place for a relaxing or sporty weekend or holiday. Our room was really nice and perfectly clean, and the kitchen was nice too. The restaurant was closed because of confinement. The people are very kind. I really recommend this place :-)

We spent a couple of nights here. The rooms are simple, but not expensive, and the people are very, very friendly. The restaurant serves simple food of excellent quality, cooked on a stone grill!
