Manoir De Kermodest

We had a great weekend here on June 11-12, 2022, for my short-time event, and the organization was spot on across both days. Yann and Catherine's advice while I was planning was a big help. The food was high quality, even with nearly 100 people, and service was discreet and very efficient. The Sunday evening barbecue by the pool was much appreciated, and everyone enjoyed the pool too. I'm extremely satisfied, and would highly recommend the place for receptions. A huge thank you to the Manoir de Kermodest for helping make the event a success. Well worth the detour!

Our guests loved Kermodest, and it was the prettiest venue we found while looking around Côtes d'Armor. We held our wedding there in August 2025, with the garden by the Trieux River making a lovely setting for our secular ceremony. There's also a charming little courtyard with a well. The bedrooms offer about 35 beds and are comfortable, though the bridal suite wasn't specially designed. The large reception hall is generally elegant and worked well for dinner and dancing, but plan on adding some decorations, and note that restroom numbers are limited. The owner's cooking was excellent, especially the strawberry cake, and having the meal included in the venue price made planning easier. It felt like a dream setting. Couples should check the rules in advance, including when the hall opens the day before, its closing time, and the conditions for using the pool. We had to adjust to those rules, but the end result was wonderful.

We came across this place by chance and would happily come back after our three-night stay. The location was exceptional, and our room was pretty, well equipped, and comfortable. We also loved the heated pool. Many thanks to the manager for the warm welcome and thoughtful touches. Wishing you a lovely end to the season.

The owners were attentive while still giving us our space. Our room and bathroom were spotless and comfortable, and the grounds are magnificent. The pool was a real pleasure, too. We had a very successful stay in this idyllic corner of the Breton countryside and would gladly return.
