Chateau Bernon

We had a fantastic weekend with friends in this well-equipped place. It’s tucked among vineyards, yet the beach is only about 15 minutes away. The owners were very welcoming and flexible. A magical spot, and one I’d definitely recommend.

The owners were exceptionally kind, attentive, pleasant, and accommodating, and always available when needed. The castle is also conveniently placed, about 15 minutes from the sea and 5 minutes from the nearest shops. We came for some peace and quiet, and the grounds, with their lovely landscaping and cozy seating spots, were perfect for that. The rooms are beautiful and the beds very comfortable. We could use all the castle’s rooms, including the billiard room and TV lounge, which felt like being at home with the added bonus of a jacuzzi and indoor pool. Breakfast was homemade and excellent. A real gem, and I highly recommend it.

Those evenings around the fire pit were lovely, and the indoor pool, with its big bay windows, was a treat. There’s also a sauna and a jacuzzi on the terrace. All the rooms were absolutely beautiful, and our stay in this prestigious residence felt like a dream. Pure bliss, with wonderful hosts. Highly recommend.

There’s room to spread out both inside and outdoors, and the terraces, sauna, indoor pool, and extra-large jacuzzi made it easy to spend time together with family or friends. Every room is spacious and beautifully decorated. Virginie and Patrice put real care into making a stay memorable. Château Bernon felt like an enchanting escape, and we highly recommend it. We’ll definitely come back.
