We'd booked two single beds, but when we arrived the desk clerk said he didn't have them. We pointed out that we'd already made the booking, and he immediately got angry and told us to leave. While we were on the phone with hotels.com trying to sort things out, he kept telling us to shut up. I could tell straight away he didn't like us because we're English. The service was absolutely shocking. The place is outdated and smells like a care home. I wouldn't let my dog stay there, even for free. Stay away.

You can't beat the location, about five minutes from the historic centre. The room was fairly clean but looked worn, and the hotel exterior, especially the courtyard, could use some updating. At least the bed and pillows were really comfortable.

The room was very comfortable, with a shower over the bath, and breakfast was a nice continental one. The locked parking was ideal for us traveling by motorcycle. The building looks a little tired outside, but inside it was clean and pleasant, with friendly staff. Very pleased.

The rooms were clean, but smelled musty and felt very dated. Service was atrocious from the moment we arrived, and we felt singled out as "English" even though we're from Ireland. It felt like hostel service. Such a shame in a beautiful town.

The rooms were okay, clean and tidy, and breakfast was lovely. It's a good base for visiting Quimper. Parking was a bit of an issue, although there is street parking.
