Oceania Quimper

A handy choice if you're traveling by car: there's a large car park, and the supermarket is nearby. The rooms were clean, breakfast was good, and the internet was fast. Downtown is five minutes away. All good )

After a four-hour drive in temperatures over 30 degrees, the pool was a welcome way to cool off, relax and have a few beers. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, and there was lots to eat. We found the room very reasonable for one night, with plenty of space for two adults and two children and good air conditioning. The staff were so friendly and helpful. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely stay here.

The restaurant staff were pleasant, but they didn't seem professional, and the restaurant itself was disappointing. Dinner and breakfast both seemed like food bought at the mall behind the hotel and reheated in a microwave with a grill function. The air conditioning in the room was noisy and didn't cool it down. I still can't figure out how this place got 4 stars.

We stayed in two rooms while visiting my daughter, who was working in Southern Brittany. The hotel was easy to find and well placed for sightseeing or days relaxing at the beach. The reception team were very friendly and always willing to help. The rooms were very clean, and the bathrooms had fantastic showers. The pool was clean but cold, and a nice way to cool off after a busy day. Reception provided pool towels. We had breakfast on our last day. It was a little pricey, but the quality was great. The corridor decor and carpets could use a refresh, and tea and coffee making facilities in the room would be a welcome extra. We'd stay again and use the Oceania chain again.
