The watercolor lessons were a highlight: I had four private sessions with Aurelia, each lasting two and a half hours, and she was attentive throughout. The time just flew. Catie welcomed me warmly, showed me Quintin, and shared great suggestions for things to do. My apartment was clean, bright, lovingly furnished, and much more spacious than I expected. The garden was lovely too. I spent a week there in September and felt completely at home. A wonderful stay, highly recommend.

We enjoyed our six weeks of French lessons with Catie so much that we signed up straight away for the next year's course, this time for two full months. In June and July 2024, we usually had class three days a week, three hours each day. Catie is passionate about teaching and shapes the lessons around what each student needs, especially the conversation skills they want to build. Alongside language work, we had a varied, well-rounded program with city tours, cultural activities, market visits, and discussions of current affairs, politics, history, and plenty more. We were extremely happy with the course and highly recommend her. 😀

Even though I only booked a handful of lessons, Catie focused right on the areas where I wanted to improve. She's an energetic, dedicated French teacher who adapts to each student's level, and she speaks excellent German too. She also gave me lots of ideas for Quintin and the surrounding area, so I had a wonderful time. Thank you so much!

The place itself felt almost magical, with colorful decor, a very comfortable bed, and everything I could need. It was peaceful inside while still being right in the center. Quintin has the feel of a little town from a novel, where people all know each other, are friendly, and get together whenever there's a reason to celebrate. Carie helped me feel part of it, with useful tips for Quintin and nearby and a hand whenever I needed one. Chez Catie went beyond what I'd quietly hoped for. À bientôt j'espère!
