I was only passing through for one night, which was just as well. I wouldn’t want to spend another night there. The owners were very pushy, and they spoke only French and a little German. That’s fine in itself, but it’s difficult if you speak little or none of either language. The room was clean and had everything I needed, so it was okay, though it looked a bit old. I could ask for breakfast at check-in. When I asked about it the next morning, there was something available, but it wasn’t very good. I wasn’t expecting a five-star dinner at that price, of course, but something decent would have been nice. I took a roll to be polite, then ate a proper breakfast somewhere else later. The coffee was undrinkable.

The rooms were lovely, and the place felt welcoming. It was very clean and quiet, and the bed was really comfortable. I’d recommend staying here. A small omelet or some scrambled eggs would have been a nice addition to breakfast.

We stayed at this charming hotel while on a business trip to Alsace. The place was very clean, and the bedding was superb. The owner will make you laugh, while the host serves up delicious meals. I highly recommend it!
