The place is very peaceful, tucked away on a small side road at the forest’s edge. We felt comfortable in this unusual accommodation, and the rooms were fresh and clean. The host greeted us personally and was so friendly. We also got great restaurant tips for town, and the draft beer here is well worth trying. Prices are very reasonable too. We’d definitely stay again.

The dinner was absolutely delicious, and the freshly tapped beer was lovely too. The room is simple, but clean, and the beds are really comfortable. The host and the whole family were open, friendly, and incredibly helpful. During our 12-day tour of France, this was the first place where we had so much contact with people and learned so many new things. If you want to get to know the country and its people, spend at least one night here. Humanity comes first here, which was new to us. We highly recommend it. Even if you’re used to five-star hotels, you’ll be surprised. Thanks for such a great experience.

We ended up booking Le Jolis Blois unexpectedly because our car had trouble. The owner was very friendly and the service was excellent, with an authentic feel to the place. Breakfast was delicious, and they let us leave the car there until it could be repatriated to the Netherlands.
