Miguel and Yola were part of a lovely stay at Chateau Villotte, with Sarah and Dennis making us feel so welcome. The château is charming, and the surrounding area is gorgeous.

The rooms were clean and neat, and we got a lovely welcome. Everything was nicely presented.

That splendid Chateau has a playful, affectionate St. Bernard who may even show you around the grounds if you get lucky, so keep that in mind if big dogs aren't your thing. Otherwise, it’s peaceful and beautifully decorated, with hosts who are genuinely warm and attentive. Breakfast feels grand hotel-worthy, silverware and all, and the whole place has a lovely calm to it.

We used the château dining room, guest rooms, and self-catering cottage for a 15-person workshop, staying 3 days and 2 nights over the November 11, 2016 weekend. The place balances traditional details with modern touches, and still feels warm and practical. Booking and organizing everything was smooth, with a professional, responsive welcome, and the value was very good. We also enjoyed the excellent restaurant next to the château.

We’ve stayed here twice already, and we’ll certainly come back. Sarah runs the place with such care, and breakfast is something special, from homemade jams and fruit to chocolate for the kids.
