This was my second stay, and the hotel is still very well run. The rooms are spacious, nicely appointed, and everything works. There’s a pleasant outdoor space that suited my dog, plus a small pool and sunbathing area. Breakfast is good quality without being over the top, and the staff are always ready to help. A few minutes’ walk up the hill in the villagey part, there’s also a fabulous restaurant called Maures de Maurin. Strong recommendation.

The room was comfortable, but I didn’t feel very welcome. There were no smiles, and when my husband complained, nobody apologized. The response was basically that this was just how things were there. We’d at least have expected a refund for the awful meal brought to our room on the first night. It left us feeling bad at the start of our holiday, which shouldn’t happen. The food was poor and expensive for what we got. We were also surprised at checkout to learn that pets cost €15 per night. We stayed a week, so that was €105 extra, and the price isn’t mentioned anywhere on the website.

Such a peaceful place, with a lovely pool and just a three-minute walk to the beach. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the decor is stylish. It feels like a little piece of paradise, and we loved everything about our stay. The staff were all so nice and great, especially. We hope to see Ruben and the Austrian lady who speaks Portuguese again on our next visit. We can’t wait to come back.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and the hotel made it extra special by upgrading our room for free and leaving a handwritten note. The view was beautiful, the staff were so friendly, and we had an amazing stay.

There’s a peaceful pool with shaded loungers, and the beds are very soft. The AC worked great, too. The place sits on a hill overlooking the beach, and nearly every room has a sea-view balcony with a table and chairs. It’s about a nine-minute drive to the port, where most places stay open late. One downside: some doors were hard to open and close, and not all of them locked.
