We stopped here after a long drive north and found a little gem of a hotel and village. The food was simple, delicious, and great value, and the local champagne was lovely too. Take a stroll through the medieval village behind the busy main road and look for the Boulangerie!

I ended up paying for a room I never stayed in. I booked through Booking because they said dogs were accepted, but when I arrived they turned us away because my two dogs were considered too big, even though they're Border Collie size. They still charged the room to my Mastercard. I tried several times to get in touch and got no response. Booking also tried contacting them after I complained, but that went nowhere. Very unreliable and fraudulent.

We arrived late while travelling and were glad they accepted bookings around the clock. The double room was lovely and very clean, with a good walk-in shower. There's a nice restaurant downstairs, and the coffee was good too.

When my car broke down in realville late at night, the owners came to help by opening the hotel for me. The room is basic, but the welcome and food were five-star. For 47 euros a night, what more could you expect?

After a long trip, I got a good night's sleep here. Everyone was very friendly.
