We spent an ideal week here, with lavender fields in view, two pools, and kind hosts. The bastide was well equipped and stayed cool with the air conditioning during a particularly hot week. It was a pleasure meeting Sergio and his daughter in such a beautiful place, with the cicadas in the background. Sergio made us feel like friends sharing his home, rather than clients. Even though we booked late, Sergio still managed to reserve his wonderful treehouse for us. Mas du Pantaï is a classic Provençal estate in the Drôme, and the treehouse looks out over lavender fields as far as you can see. May or June would be the time to come if you want to see them at their best. It’s a cozy, comfortable place, with running water, electricity, air conditioning, and breakfast served on site with homemade jam. We’d be happy to come back to Sergio and his lovely family.

We’d booked the venue for our wedding, but for some reason the owner asked us to move the date. We’d already printed the flyers and booked the caterer, so this caused a real problem. Avoid this place.

A quiet, lovely stay. Sergio always greeted us warmly, and the staff were friendly and there whenever we needed them. I’d recommend it.
