B&B Les Eaux De La Petite Fontaine

We plan our route through France to include a night or three here, even if it takes us out of our way. The owners make you feel at home in their gorgeous house, with warm hospitality, spacious, very clean ensuite rooms and the most comfortable beds. We’ve stayed at plenty of B&Bs on our travels, and this is the best we’ve found. The setting, house, local attractions and especially the owners make it a special place. You can also have an evening meal, which takes the pressure off a busy day. Come in, get welcomed, eat, shower, sleep. Perfect. I’d give it six stars if Google allowed.

The morning view from Walnut is stunning, and the bed is very comfortable with excellent facilities. I’ve stayed here with my partner many times, sometimes for as long as five days. The company is excellent, the food is great, and the rooms are gorgeous. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

The garden is lovely and calm, with the fountain tinkling out front and a huge gazebo in the fresh air at the back. Cheryl and Phil are quietly charming, and they’ve turned a barn into a relaxing sitting room with a special pellet-burning stove during covid. We’ve visited several times. It’s a must on our trips around France.

My hosts were wonderful when I had a small medical problem. They took me to the local hospital and looked after me after I was released until I was well enough to continue my holiday. I couldn’t have asked for better service. The house is superb, quiet, about five minutes from the local town, and surrounded by glorious countryside. It’s a great base for heading anywhere in France, and a refreshing place for a holiday or stopover. 5 STAR. Fred Magill
