The staff did their jobs well, and the service was very friendly. The location was nice, and the rooms were alright, though the bathrooms are tightly built and can be difficult to move around in if you’re a big Nordic person like me. Getting by in France with the English language barrier can be hard, but the staff here made it manageable. Breakfast was okay and helped me get going, though it was mostly dry items like waffles and bread. More protein variety, perhaps milk, would have been nice. I can understand the limited selection if the hotel doesn’t have a proper kitchen and the food is just unpacked and put on display. The hotel itself could use some revamping, but it’s not a bad choice for a few days.

We booked for 17th August because, as cyclists, we wanted shelter from the rain and a warm shower. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and welcoming, spoke English very well, and was a huge help. The room was basic, but very clean and comfortable, just as you’d expect from an Ibis. A great experience at this cyclist-friendly hotel, with the kind of customer service most places seem to lack nowadays. Well done Ibis!

For a reasonable price, the room was fine: clean and tidy, with a double bed and TV. Breakfast costs extra. I enjoyed my stay at ibis budget hotel.
