Queen Serenity Hotel

The locked bike room is large and dedicated to bicycles, which was handy for us. Our bedroom was airy, bright, and spacious, with a wonderfully comfortable bed and a Nespresso coffee maker. The breakfast was continental, with fruit, nuts, muesli, eggs, ham, pastries, and good bread. It starts at 6:30 on weekdays and 7am on weekends. The hotel is near both the station and town centre, and the owners made us feel welcome. I’d gladly stay again.

The staff were helpful and attentive from check-in right through to our departure, always with a smile. The new owners have only been there a couple of months, but you can see they’re already working hard to improve the hotel. I’ve stayed in plenty of three-star places I wouldn’t return to, so I don’t understand why this one has only two stars. If I’m back in Redon, I’d book here again without hesitation. Merci beaucoup!

It was handy being able to leave my bags in the room before check-in, and the location put everything just minutes away. My clean, comfortable standard room was quiet and looked onto the garden and Redon’s old houses. I was glad there was a kettle. Everything was great, apart from not being able to get the connected TV to work.

There’s secure storage for bikes, and the rooms are a good size. It’s a clean, comfortable family-run hotel, with a great buffet breakfast at €11 per person.
