Hotel Campanile Reims Sud - Bezannes

The room was clean and had a nice modern look. We waited a long time at the Bistro restaurant, but the food made it worth it. My fillet steak with vegetables and potatoes was the best steak I've ever had. I'd definitely recommend stopping here if you're passing through.

This place is a handy, affordable stop near the highway, and it did the job. It's basic, but has what you need for a short stay, with free parking in front of some rooms. There's no parking surveillance, though it was quiet when we stayed. A self check-in machine lets you collect your room card if you arrive late. You can make coffee or tea with the hot water provided, which is useful if you're leaving very early. We didn't try the food. Mac Donald’s and Burger King are two minutes away. Good value for an efficient overnight stop.

We had a clean room and decent bed linen, and the automatic check-in machine was handy for our late arrival. The accommodation was cheap and cheerful, close to the motorway, and served us well. We left early, so missed breakfast, but it's good to know about for next time.

For a single night, it was okay. The place was clean, staff were kind, and there were plenty of parking spaces outside. It felt safe and was quiet. The rooms are very small, though, and the AC wasn't working in most of them. With the window open, ventilation hardly felt adequate for this season.
