Le Clovis Suites SPA Sauna

Being only about 100 metres from the cathedral, this apartment is hard to beat, and sitting in the jacuzzi bath with champagne was a treat. It’s in an old building with a few creaks, there’s no air conditioning, and you can hear some street noise, though the thick walls keep things cool through the day. None of that got in the way of a wonderful stay. We’d booked at short notice for two nights after a hotel reservation through booking.com fell through, and I was unsure about staying in an apartment. Max answered our questions quickly and explained the arrival clearly. We got there later than planned, but that was no problem. He gave us a thorough tour, helped us park, and showed us where to get a late meal. The place is a real gem. The two bedrooms sit at opposite ends; one has a walk-in shower and basin. There’s a fitted galley kitchen with a fridge-freezer, wine fridge and oven, plus a huge master wet room with a jacuzzi bath big enough for a rugby team. The balcony looks towards the cathedral. There’s also a dining room with a TV, and behind a secret door in the tiled entrance hall, a sauna for four or five people. The attention to detail was everywhere, from the coffee machine to the generous supply of towels and robes. Max and Julie also surprised us with a personal welcome. I almost want to keep this lovely place to myself, but it deserves to be shared.

Suite Clovis is a beautiful place to come back to after a busy day. The apartment is spacious, bright, spotless, and decorated with real care, so it feels both stylish and welcoming. We felt at ease as soon as we arrived thanks to the warm, friendly greeting. I’d highly recommend Suite Clovis for a quality stay in a lovely setting.

The cathedral view is the highlight, especially after dark, and you can walk to everything while still enjoying a peaceful spot in the centre. Julie and Max were kind, quick to respond, and full of useful suggestions. They even greeted us with champagne ;) The apartment feels like an enchanting little haven, with lovely bedding, decor, equipment, and cleanliness. Julie and Max have clearly put their hearts into it. You could arrive with just your clothes and settle right in. The photos give you an idea, but there's so much I couldn't list it all. A real gem, well worth a visit.

The owner was attentive and had great advice. We found the private apartment peaceful and just right for a romantic break. The spa is private, and its beautiful cathedral view makes it an especially nice feature.
