The breakfast is great for just 9,99 euros, and the woman working in the kitchen was lovely. All the staff were polite and helpful, including the lady at the front desk. Check-in late at night was easy: the instructions were clear, and picking up the keys from the mailbox went smoothly. The rooms were clean and had everything I needed for living, cooking, and resting. The hotel is a little far from the city centre and main station, but public transport makes it easy enough to reach. I liked the leafy neighborhood, which reminded me a bit of towns in southern New Zealand. The area near the hotel felt pretty safe, though I did have some doubts around JFK station. That may have been the wrong impression, but I probably wouldn't wander around there for too long at night. I'd happily stay again if I'm back in town.

I don't usually leave reviews, but claims people made about this place are unbelievably untrue. Photos can do a lot with Photoshop 😜. The rooms look like they're from the 60s, and I'd understand the stars if they'd been updated to some decent standard. As it is, zero stars. You can cook for yourself, which is the upside. The rest felt depressing, from the colors and entrance to the bathrooms and chairs. They say no smoking, yet every chair I saw had a burn hole. The price is a joke for a place like this. I wouldn't feel safe staying here. First and last time.

I really enjoyed my stay at Rennes Apartcity,Ouest. Christophe and the rest of the staff were fantastic, always friendly and helpful, and willing to go the extra mile. The place was clean and well maintained in a great neighborhood. Having a kitchenette made it easy to cook and save money. I'd recommend it for a short visit or a longer stay in Rennes.

I stayed for several days and found the service excellent. All the staff speak English and are ready to help with any problem. For two people, the unit has two floors, a large bathroom, a private kitchen with appliances, and two balconies. The only awkward thing was that the toilet and bathroom are upstairs. The location is good enough for the price per night. Highly recommend for a short trip to Rennes!
