Hôtel Rennes Ouest

The rooms are small and right beside a very busy main road. Traffic carried on all day and night during our one-night stay. There's no air conditioning, so I wouldn't want to be here in a hot spell.

Nice.

The friendly staff are the only reason I'm giving this place one star. My wife was bitten by bedbugs, the bathroom was appalling, and there was a strong sewage smell throughout the hotel. There was just one towel for the two of us. The breakfast was frozen too, with stale croissants and bread that seemed several days old. My wife, friends, and I stayed here in early January, and it was an unsanitary mess. It may be vintage, but that's something to look at in photos. I strongly advise against staying here, and think renting rooms in this condition is shameful. The reservation was under my partner's name, not mine. I'm only describing what we saw during our stay.

I really liked the hotel's vintage American theme. Evans at reception was especially welcoming, and the service was excellent. A lovely stay, thank you.
