The breakfast was excellent, and my room was clean and comfortable. It was reasonably quiet at night, with no traffic at the back of the building, though I did hear people occasionally. I stayed for 10 days and found the location handy, near the town centre and a 10 minute walk from the station. Reception staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke good English. There wasn't a kettle in the room, but when I asked, the hotel provided one along with plenty of cups, plates, and cutlery. I'll definitely stay here again if I return to Rennes.

A very comfortable bed, a good shower, and a bright, clean room. Even though my windows faced the street, it was quiet. The hotel is nice and inexpensive, and its location makes it easy to explore central Rennes on foot. I'll definitely stay again.

The room was a decent size, and I had no real complaints about it, though I found the toilet being in a cramped little room separate from the main bathroom inconvenient. Some people might prefer that setup, but I don't. My main disappointment was the staff's communication and helpfulness. Neither the man at check-in nor the woman in the morning knew how to get to Mont Saint Michel. The man told me to ask again at checkout, and when I said I was leaving at 6:30, he said I could have breakfast, so I thought it was included. In the morning, the woman said it was ready but would cost 14 Euros, so I skipped it and went to the train station hoping to find a quick bite. I only stayed a very short time, arriving after 11pm and checking out at 6:30am. The location is convenient: the airport bus stop is a short walk away, the sights are less than a kilometer away, and the train station is a little farther. That makes getting to and from the airport, station, and sights fairly easy.
