Domaine Les Cascades

So beautiful and peaceful here, and it feels authentic. The raw natural surroundings make it easy to switch off and take in nature. Thank you, Laurent and Silvie, for such incredible hospitality. The work you do is admirable. I can’t wait to come back.

We stopped here to break up a long drive to Spain, and what a lovely region. Autumn made the natural colours especially beautiful. The owners are so friendly and passionate, and they put a lot of effort into offering homemade things during the stay. The saffron syrup was a real treat and a lovely discovery, and breakfast was generous, with delicious homemade jams. A big plus for us was how welcome our little, or in our case, not so little, four-legged companions were. Thanks again.

The room was spotless, quiet, and spacious, and I liked having the booklet about the region and the estate there to read. Breakfast was generous, with homemade jams, and both the excellent wine and the delicious truffle-infused floating eggs were memorable. Sylvie and Laurent welcomed us so warmly, even after the devastating fire had destroyed all their vines. They were helpful and full of good advice. Thank you both again, and I wish you courage and all the best for the future. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

Dinner was a real treat: floating eggs with a touch of truffle, sausage cooked in marc de vin, zucchini gratin made with berries from the garden, and red berry sorbet from the garden too. Breakfast brought organic grape juice and several homemade jams. Sylvie gave us a warm welcome at Domaine les Cascades. It’s a quiet spot among the plants, and the room was on a par with a 3-star hotel. A feast for the eyes and palate.
