After a day out walking or exploring, having the spa to unwind in was a real plus. It’s a nice little hotel, and I’d recommend booking directly with them. Our room was chilly, and we couldn’t work out the heating, though we didn’t ask for help. I’m sure they would’ve brought an extra blanket. The bath and shower setup was also awkward under the sloped ceiling on the third floor.
10/10
Breakfast was a highlight, with plenty of hot choices, and the spa was pleasant without being too busy when we visited. We came for a romantic weekend and got exactly that. The room was comfortable, though a little dated, and spa access is part of the room price, with opening hours through the day and late evening. The staff were friendly, dogs are allowed, and parking is only a few minutes away. We’d come back.
10/10
The spa was so relaxing that I wished we’d booked a second night. They had robes and slippers ready for us, which made it even nicer. Our room was very comfortable, and the location couldn’t have been better. Perfect for a one-night stay.
8/10
The staff were really friendly, even though they didn’t speak English. We managed fine with modern technology. It’s a nice place to stay, but don’t bring children if you want to use the pool area, since kids aren’t welcome there.
8/10
The rooms were fresh and really nice, just a little small. The elevator made a worrying scraping sound between the second and third floors, as if it was hitting something. The place is central and parking was easy to find.
