The waiter was unfriendly and wouldn't let the two of us take one of the several shaded tables because they were set for four. It was 1:15. We went across the road instead and had an excellent lunch at the other hotel.

The service was second to none, even with the restaurant packed to capacity. The staff were friendly and attentive, and all four courses arrived on time without delays. We decided to try the place on our last night in France. Wow, it's the best food I've tasted here, better than some Michelin star restaurants I've visited. I'll definitely come back.

The terrace is great, and the interior has been renovated. The food is good for the price, and there's a plus for the more gourmand dinners.
