That winding drive might put some people off, but the peace and breathtaking scenery make the trip worthwhile. We stopped for one night on August 1st, 2019, while heading to Spain, and got such a warm welcome from the genuine, charming staff. The pool was a treat after a long day on the road, and it’s a great place for children and dogs. It feels wonderfully secluded and like a complete change of scenery. We’ll be back on our next holiday in Spain.

A hotel that feels like it’s outside of time, and worth the trip. Paulo’s chats are a delight if you enjoy caustic humor. I haven’t laughed that much in ages. If you’re bitter and uptight, this probably isn’t for you.

We were welcomed so warmly at this lovely, peaceful place. There’s a pool, a play area for children, and a pétanque court. I’d definitely recommend it.

We were warmly welcomed by a very friendly, sporty couple, and the view they offered was magnificent and breathtaking. A really good place to stay.
