Our room looked out onto the lovely courtyard, where the leaves were turning. It was clean and comfortable, and the whole place felt friendly, warm, and helpful. A gentleman welcomed us and showed us to the room. Breakfast was generous, with pretty much everything you could want, including local Rocamadour cheese, nut bread, fresh baguettes, and pastries. Restaurants and the spectacular tourist area are only a short walk away.

The medieval city is just 400 meters from the back door, so you don’t need a car to explore Racamador. This family-run hotel is a dream base for visiting the area. The rooms were among the cleanest I’ve stayed in, the service was fantastic, and there’s a continental breakfast. We’ll definitely be back next year.

A lovely building in an incredibly beautiful setting. Inside it’s modern, quiet, warm, immaculately clean, and well equipped. There are two Tesla Destination Chargers and secure parking off the street. Breakfast is a good buffet. There’s no restaurant, but that’s fine, since plenty of places to eat are a 10-minute walk away. The name comes from the Occitan for a sunny place in a forest.

We found Hotel Les Esclargies excellent value for money. It’s a short walk from the heart of Rocamadour, while still feeling peaceful and tucked into a lovely natural setting. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and relaxing after a day out, and our room was spotless, well maintained, and comfortable. The host and team were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Breakfast was well presented and organized, with just the right variety. We’d definitely recommend this charming hotel to anyone visiting.

We’d booked three nights, but after seeing the place we added one more. It’s immaculate and very well run, and breakfast was just right, with everything you need at a reasonable price. The main attraction is very close, and there’s a peaceful garden and swimming pool, perfect for relaxing after an active day.
