James is a terrific host, and his knowledge of the area meant we got useful suggestions for places to see. We stayed two nights and ate the evening meal there both times. It was the best food of our entire two-week trip around Europe. I’d give this place six stars if I could. We had a great time, and we’ll be back for a longer stay. Cheers, James.

The breakfast was warm and welcoming, with a delicious walnut butter that felt like a special touch. James is a wonderful proprietor and gave us great advice for exploring the area.

The building has plenty of character and a fascinating history. James made us feel very welcome, and we enjoyed talking with him at dinner and again over breakfast the next morning. He cooked us a wonderful evening meal, and breakfast was just as good. We were travelling through France on our way to Spain, and had a lovely evening here. Thanks, James. We hope to come back. We had a great stay, and James gave us fantastic service. Be sure to try the homemade walnut spread.

There’s a lovely garden behind the house where you can have a glass of wine before dinner, and La Noyeraie has a very good local wine. We spent a couple of lovely nights here while travelling through France to Spain, and ate dinner both evenings. Both meals were delicious. Rocamadour and old villages like Autoire are just a short drive away. Thank you for making our stay so special.
