Les Hauts d'Avignon

I came here after a very busy year, personally and at work, hoping to recharge. I’d seen the infinity pool and the view at Villa des Hauts d'Avignon, and found exactly what I was after, plus more. It’s a peaceful spot in the hills above Rochefort-du-Gard, where you can hear cicadas and birds. Avignon, Uzès, Villeneuve-lès-Avignon, Nîmes, and other places are nearby, so it’s a handy base for exploring the region. The owners gave us a genuinely warm welcome and were so attentive. The accommodation was excellent, and the massages, sauna, jacuzzi, and gym were all very good. I wasn’t expecting the food to be so wonderful, either. Rodrigue and Emmanuel are superb cooks, and I highly recommend trying the fish and grilled dishes. The hardest part was leaving. I went home to my responsibilities with a heavy heart, but a clear mind, a rested body, and lovely memories of meeting the owners. I’ll definitely come back to talk and spend more time with them. We found a little paradise near Avignon with Emmanuel and Rodrigo. The infinity pool has a stunning view, and the room and the whole house are decorated with great taste. It was so easy to relax and switch off, exactly what we needed to recharge. Too bad we only stayed two nights. The owners made us breakfast and also cooked dinner for us twice, and both meals were truly divine. Thank you for such a lovely experience. I hope to see you soon 🤗

What stayed with us most was how warmly we were welcomed, along with the BBQ dinners and how friendly the hosts were. We spent two nights at Les Hauts d'Avignon during the festival, and our superb room opened straight onto the terrace and pool. The view was breathtaking. We’ll definitely come back.

Rodrigue & Emmanuel were so caring and friendly, and we met some lovely people during our stay. Les Hauts d'Avignon feels like a cocoon, with tasteful decor and art objects adding to the warmth. The villa has everything you need to unwind: an infinity pool, jacuzzi, sauna, gym, billiards table, and even a motorized tilting climbing wall for enthusiasts. From the entrance, huge bay windows open onto a breathtaking view, and the terrace has a sweeping panorama. Magical!
