The staff were really welcoming and helpful, and there’s a nice kitchen and shared space.

The price was low, but the new rooms felt poorly designed. It’s 2 km from the city centre, and the reception staff weren’t very friendly. Check-in was more complicated than it needed to be, and WLAN cost extra.

We stayed as a family in a six-bed dorm. The hostel was in good condition, with comfortable beds, friendly staff, and a good breakfast.

It’s in a good spot by the river, about a 30-minute walk to town. Le corderie is one way, and the transporter bridge is the other.

The students and teachers were all very happy with our two-day school trip stay, especially with the generous meals. The rooms were clean, and breakfast was complete, with freshly squeezed orange juice as a nice extra. We got a warm welcome, and our requests about the rooms and arrival and delivery were respected. The packed lunches were plentiful and original too. The quiet, green setting gave the students space to let loose on the first night. We’d happily recommend it.
