Hôtel Inn Design & Restaurant Rochefort

There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance, since the restaurant wasn't open. The breakfast was a letdown, though: once something ran out, it didn't seem to get replaced. The hotel itself is nice, but the rooms are on the small side, and ours was cold when we arrived.

The staff were friendly, and the breakfast buffet was nicely put together. The room was dirty, hot, and humid, though, and there was no air conditioning, just a fan. The street noise was bad, so ask for a room at the back. There was blood on the walls from dead mosquitoes, I hope.

We booked two nights but left the room after the first because the cigarette smell was so strong we couldn't sleep. The next day, we smelled like cigarettes ourselves. Definitely not a place for nonsmokers. Of course, we didn't get a refund.

The room itself was clean, and the price was good. The bathroom, though, had quite a bit of mold.
