We keep coming back for lunch. The set menu is a very nice price, the dishes are yummy and come out quickly, and the appetizer buffet is tasty. There are two mains to choose from, though if you ask nicely, she can make something else too. That’s why we return so often.

The room was clean and tidy, and the price was good for basic accommodation. We were close to the picturesque river, though the mosquitoes were bad, so bring repellent. The riverside path into town is really nice and takes about 20 minutes. Our welcome was less smooth. A guy who looked like he’d come straight from the Munsters, whom we quickly nicknamed 'Lurch', seemed confused about our booking and didn’t have a great attitude. He made an angry-sounding call to the owner, then ushered us to the room. A few minutes later the owner came to give us the key, and she was lovely.

When our campervan broke down and ended up at a garage in the next town, the owner offered to drive us there and gave us lots of useful information. The place itself is nice and quiet, and the owners were very welcoming and helpful.
